RECAP: ISFM Short-Term International Semester 2026 in Malaysia
The International School of Finance and Marketing (ISFM) has successfully wrapped up its 2026 short-term summer program at HELP University, Malaysia.
Guided by the vision "From the campus to the world," the program provided students with a transformative blend of academic rigor, practical industry exposure, and cultural immersion.
Academic Journey & Program Structure
Flexible Study Tracks: The mobility program was designed with two distinct pathways: an 8-day program covering one academic course, and a 15-day program covering two courses.
Cohort Details: The comprehensive two-week track hosted a dedicated group of 22 students, running from June 21 to July 5, 2026.
Intensive Learning: Hosted at HELP University's modern campus in Kuala Lumpur, students engaged in daily lectures and practical activities from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Official Milestones: The academic experience was formally marked by an Opening Ceremony on June 29 and concluded with a Closing Ceremony on July 3.
Collaborative Environment: The program fostered an intellectually stimulating atmosphere where students could directly exchange ideas with international faculty and peers.
Cultural Immersion & Industry Experience
Corporate Insights: Bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application, the curriculum featured dedicated company visits that allowed students to observe real-world business operations and management.
Heritage & City Tours: Weekend itineraries were packed with vibrant cultural excursions, including a dedicated trip to the historical city of Melaka. Students also explored iconic Kuala Lumpur landmarks such as the Batu Caves, Thean Hou Temple, and the Petronas Twin Towers.
Independent Living: Emphasizing self-reliance and adaptability, students experienced authentic international student life while staying at local accommodations like Rubiq Hospitality and ORA Home.
