A. INTRODUCTION TO THE MAJOR
The BA(Hons) Marketing programme is designed and taught by UWE’s industry experts, providing a balance of academic rigour and practical application.
UWE works with industry experts to ensure that the content is relevant and useful to our students, meeting the needs of real-world practice.
Marketing-specific modules in key areas such as branding, global marketing, big data and digital marketing. Learn how to build a brand, conduct market research and meet requirements.
Develop the ability to communicate persuasively, understand consumers, and coordinate and manage projects from start to finish in line with financial targets.
The flexibility of the course allows students to develop studentsr interests and skills, with a UWE Marketing degree accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), increasing studentsr employability after graduation. The high applicability between theory and practice helps students easily find jobs, ready to participate in the international working environment, along with the skills and experience to easily succeed in their career.
B. PROGRAM INFORMATION
1. Admission requirements: High school graduates (or equivalent), grade 12 average score of 6.0 or higher.
2. Training model: 03 years of study at the University of Finance - Marketing, Vietnam.
3. Admission fee: 500,000 VND/application
4. Teaching language: English
5. Program allocation:
✅ Candidates who meet the IELTS 5.5 or higher or equivalent entrance standard will be admitted to the main program (major). The total time to study the major modules is 3 years.
✅ For candidates who do not meet the English entrance standard, the University of Finance - Marketing will arrange an English entrance training program to meet the entrance standard before entering the main program.

Learning and Teaching Methods
Students benefit from an integrative approach that combines faculty-led instruction, independent study, and collaborative group projects.
Lectures, seminars, project-based group work, and tutorials amount to approximately 12 contact hours per week. In addition, students are encouraged to invest an equal amount of time in independent study, which encompasses seminar preparation, lecture review, online coursework, extensive reading, and various research activities. Furthermore, students will prepare for assessments and revise for final module examinations.
Through this academic journey, students will cultivate advanced communication and presentation skills, alongside proficiency in IT and quantitative analysis, as well as project and time management. Strengthened competencies in problem-solving, critical thinking, analysis, evaluation, and innovation will equip students to distinguish themselves in their professional pursuits post-graduation.
Assessment
You will be assessed through a combination of assignments and exams, designed to evaluate what students know and can achieve, while fostering confidence and the skills valued by employers.
Assignments may take the form of essays and reports; business plans and applied research projects; weekly logs and notes; and both individual and group presentations and posters. Students will also engage in reflective exercises, documenting their learning and personal development journey.
Degree
• The Bachelor’s degree awarded by the University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol holds international value and is recognized by Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training.
• The modules in UWE’s Finance – Banking curriculum are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
• UWE degrees are also recognized by the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).

Tuition Fees
Tuition fees are structured on a per-semester basis and are determined by the number of modules students choose to enroll in each semester.
English Training Program (for Students Who Do Not Meet English Proficiency Standards)
Total English course: 4 levels
Tuition fee: 15 million VND per level
Note: Students will be assessed and placed into levels upon enrollment.
Tuition fees in Vietnam: 700,000 VND per CATS unit.
Students are required to pay tuition based on the number of CATS registered for each module.
Tuition fees in the UK (for students choosing to transfer for study abroad): approximately £16,000 per year (excluding living expenses).
Important Notes:
In addition to tuition, students are required to pay a health insurance fee at the institution.
Any adjustments to tuition fees will be communicated to students in advance, with a maximum increase of no more than 10%.
